Employment
Albi is the mortician and mausoleum keeper. They work with Hydrangea and live in the same complex as the Limniris siblings.
When flora die, their physical body sprouts flowers while their essence returns to the Flower Deity to be reincarnated. Albi records their death and arranges flowers around the body so the person looks presentable as in life for their funeral.
Albi’s main work is maintaining death records, essentially the history of all of the flora, and researching the concept of death in the mausoleum.
Personality
They have the driest humor that only Hydrangea understands. They’re quiet and proper, speaking slowly with intention. Chrys calls them “a walking dictionary”. Their eyes stay closed, opening only in extreme circumstances… or when they are looking for something in the mausoleum.

Relationships
Hydrangea
Albi is friends and coworkers with Hydrangea. Hydrangea usually comes up with a returning quip to Albi’s jokes while others look on in horror. Hydrangea has a drastically different arrangement style from Albi, so occasionally it gets requests through the morgue. Albi pays it extra for those requests since it’s technically not employed by the morgue.
The Limniris siblings
Albi lives in the same complex as the Limniris siblings, and often takes care of Ayame while the other two are out.
Albi enjoys Ayame’s company and teaches them how to identify flowers and plants. They try to answer Ayame’s incessant questions, or lead them to the library so they can discover the answer together. They encourage Ayame’s curiosity and love for life, finding it heartwarming and a breath of fresh air after their own job.
Albi and Chrys do not get along very well. Albi respects Chrys’s space and decisions, but Chrys does not offer the same to them. When asked about Chrys, Albi simply smiles a thin smile and says, “there will always be conflict in the world.” Chrys occasionally sends apology gifts to keep the peace or in thanks to Albi taking care of Ayame, though.
Albi relies on Coco for the latest trends and goings on of the kingdom. She often provides information unprompted, so Albi also knows a lot of questionable trivia that they can’t quite wrap their head around (skibidi… something…). They mostly discuss the latest fashion so Albi doesn’t talk and walk like a museum. Albi’s knowledge sometimes sets trends, though it only wishes to make Coco’s stage outfits lighter and more comfortable to wear.
